Nisa Group’s Andrew Mouse has been named as Sales Director of the Year at the British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards run by the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management.
Andrew beat four other shortlisted competitors to win the award, and judges said of him: “Andrew has a clear and well thought-out strategy to continuously drive Nisa’s sales performance forward. Not only has Andrew been instrumental in redefining the sales and corporate culture within the organisation, he has identified key areas for sustainable growth.”
Andrew joined Scunthorpe-based grocery giant Nisa more than 10 years ago, and has led his sales team to achieve record recruitment figures for the last two years. He has also implemented a new planogram service for members as well as overseeing Nisa’s trade marketing campaign, creating an eye catching and innovative advertising campaign.
Furthermore, Andrew created the independent fascia group which looks to provide additional benefits to independent fascia members who hit set criteria, allowing them to make improvements to their store through the rebates they earn.
Andrew says: “It is a great honour to have received the award for Sales Director of the Year. I work closely with my sales team to ensure Nisa recruits strong independent retailers which further enhance the company, allowing it to continue to provide such a comprehensive offer to its members.”
