Successful year for recruitment firm

Wakefield's international recruitment firm m2r has celebrated its twelfth birthday with continual growth. In a difficult time for all sectors m2r is still forging ahead, winning new clients and expanding their portfolio.
In the past twelve months, m2r’s achievements have included winning International Business of the Year at the Wakefield District Business Awards and being shortlisted as one of the top five SMEs in the UK currently involved on an international level, at the International Trade Awards.
The nominations have followed the securing of accounts in the Far East, Middle East, USA and Europe. 2012 also saw the launch of a dedicated Education and Training Division headed by an internal promotion. The company moved to prestigious new offices at Woodhead House on Providence Street in Wakefield city centre to allow for further growth.
As part of its growth the company attended a high level trade delegation to Saudi Arabia as part of Saudi/British Energy Week and singled out as a ‘beacon’ in how to develop overseas business. After making connections in Saudi Arabia, m2r successfully completed a huge Teacher and Training recruitment drive in the UK for an extremely prestigious Saudi Arabian company. m2r also won a contract to act as the global project manager for a large marine contract in Saudi Arabia.
The company strengthened its Middle Eastern links further and is now managing a recruitment project to facilitate infrastructure development for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Managing Director Munir Mamujee says, "It has been a tremendously challenging year for numerous reasons yet when you look at what we have achieved, it makes enviable reading. I am very proud of the team and look forward to another successful year."
