Grant Thornton strengthens tax team

Fletcher Adamowicz is the latest addition to Grant Thornton’s fast growing team of Yorkshire tax specialists joining the business adviser as senior manager in its Leeds office.

Fletcher started his career with Ernst & Young where he spent eight years working in its mid-market and private client teams.  His specialisms include providing advice to corporates, management teams and shareholders of fast growth owner managed and private equity backed businesses.

In his new role at Grant Thornton, Fletcher will work within the corporate tax team, focusing on transactional and Private Equity backed clients to ensure the company and its shareholders receive a comprehensive service.  He will also work closely with Grant Thornton’s northern corporate finance team on tax due diligences and tax aspects of acquisitions and buy-outs.

Fletcher says, “Having been a mid-market specialist throughout my career, I wanted to develop my role with a firm that has a clear focus on the mid-market and which has a highly respected presence in the region as well as ambitious plans for growth.”

Neil Sengupta, partner in Grant Thornton’s business tax services team in Yorkshire, adds, “We have seen a definite upturn in the volume of deals in recent months and Fletcher will further strengthen our specialist team by helping us to provide expert advice on the tax aspects of transactions.”
