Lincolnshire farmers to aid economic recovery

The Sales and Marketing director of QV Foods suggests the food sector is set to play a major part in the UK's economic recovery.

At the upcoming Invest in Lincolnshire event, Simon Martin will be speaking up in praise of Lincolnshire's farmers, stating that not only do they not get the praise they deserve, but those individuals were in a key position to have an impact on the recovery of the country.

Long having been recognised as the centre of England's fresh produce industry, Lincolnshire has a rich history of farming and agricultural work, dating back hundreds of years.

The event will be speaking about potential for growth and investment in Lincolnshire, and it seems the agricultural sector may be of particular interest to the speakers and visitors. Simon believes that farmers at the moment are mostly independent, which will sufficient is not as efficient as it could be. “If we worked together, we could see even better results.”

The event itself is taking place on the 23rd February.
