Ripley Close Industrial Park has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme after being bought by Yorkshire and London based property company Ribston.
Ripley Close Industrial Park is part of Normanton Industrial Estate which is strategically located off Junction 31 of the M62. The estate comprises 9 industrial units and totals over 43,000 sq. ft.
The estate has been comprehensively modernised to create high quality industrial and warehouse accommodation ranging from 4,768 sq. ft. (443 sq. m.) to 23,915 sq. ft. (2,222 sq. m.) The units now benefit from a fully TATA Steel overclad roof, front elevation cladding and internal refurbishment throughout. The works were managed by Cushman & Wakefield’s Building Surveying team based in Newcastle who appointed contractors Bilton and Johnson.
The estate has recently attracted home improvements company Anglican Group, who have committed to a 5 year lease and is already occupied by existing tenants Solupak Ltd and Flue & Ducting Limited.
Paul Mack, Director at Gent Visick commented: “Our clients have made a significant investment in Ripley Close to create a series of high quality, modern industrial / warehouse units on a secure estate in a prime industrial location of West Yorkshire. We have already had some strong occupier interest since the refurbishment works have been completed, and we look to attract further new tenants to the estate”.
James Havery, Director of Ribston commented “We are delighted with the refurbishment works and we believe Ripley Close will now realise its potential as a well configured estate in a highly sought after and thriving industrial location.”
