Hong Kong-headquartered real estate company has acquired a Sheffield warehouse in a £2.9 million deal brokered by Commercial Property Partners (CPP).
The industrial unit is currently occupied by Insight UK, a provider of IT products and services, until 2022.
Mordril Properties purchased the 53,263 sq ft industrial unit primarily for its ‘prime location’ in the heart of South Yorkshire’s commercial and industrial area.
A steel, portal-framed warehouse with a secure yard, parking and single-storey office space, it is located just off Tinsley Park Road within the Lower Don Valley area of Sheffield; located one mile to the north-east of junction 34 on the M1, and 2.5 miles east of the city centre.
CPP, who have an office in Sheffield, advised on the sale – and the announcement of Mordril’s acquisition marks the latest in a series of deals for CPP across Yorkshire and The Midlands.
