Leeds City Region LEP is asking businesses and organisations across the public and voluntary sectors to help in a review of the region’s Strategic Economic Plan.
It is seeking views on how the Leeds City Region can transform the economy, and how, by working with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and other key partners, it will be achieved.
The original plan, published in March 2014, set out ambitions for the region and helped to secure a £1 billion Growth Deal with Government – the largest deal of any LEP area in the country.
The LEP is now taking stock of progress to date, and reflecting on changes in the regional, national and global and policy environment. The key aim of the refresh to the plan is to ensure Leeds City Region remains relevant and focused on those areas that will make the biggest difference to businesses and people.
The consultation will end on Friday 26th February, and will lead to a further draft to be presented to the LEP Board in April.
