Almond Financial adds to team

Lincoln-based Almond Financial Ltd is celebrating being named as one of the top-performing financial specialists in the East Midlands by adding a new face to the team.

The brainchild of Director Samuel Robinson, Almond specialises in pension management and retirement planning. The firm has just been named as finishing 15th in the East Midlands by Intrinsic, out of more than 250 firms. This is based on the number of clients helped within the first quarter.

Sam Robinson said: “We’re delighted to have been placed 15th in the region. For a firm so young and competing against companies that have many more advisors, we feel strongly that this shows our innovative approach is working.”

Following this news, Almond has also welcomed Sally Hardy to the team as a Paraplanner, expanding the firm’s financial and customer-focused expertise. Sally brings experience from the world of financial advice to Almond, supporting the pensions and investments capability of the firm.

Sam added: “We’re hugely excited to be welcoming Sally on board. Her appointment means we have the experience and support at hand which also allows us room and the manoeuvrability to grow.

“We now have a wealth of talent here that is unmatched in the region.”

This news comes following Almond Financial’s launch last year, where the company raised more than £1,200 for the charity CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably.

Sam added: “We’re really looking forward seeing how the business evolves with Sally on the team and we hope she enjoys being surrounded by the like-minded and innovative individuals we have here at Almond.

“Sally’s move will help us push our growth forward as well as our suite of services we offer to our clients. Our focus is going to be on customer service first and foremost. Our bespoke offering works so well because we have close working relationships with all of our clients.

“We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2019 brings.”

Launched in 2018, the company is based in commercial offices at The Point, close to the city’s Teal Park development.
