BHP Financial Planning add financial planner to Cleakheaton team

BHP Financial Planning has expanded its team with the appointment of Mitch Burke as financial planner.

Mr Burke joins the team at the Cleakheaton office, bringing over a decade’s worth of industry experience. He has recently achieved the Advanced Diploma level to become a Chartered Financial Planner.

He said: “I have joined BHP because as a Chartered firm of Financial Planners within an Accountancy practice I believe we can offer inclusive financial and tax advice to our clients within the one organisation. The company is well established within Yorkshire with a large client base which is continually growing, making this an inviting opportunity.”

Mr Burke provides financial advice on pensions, inheritance tax and estate planning, protection and investments as well as Lifetime Cashflow Planning.

He graduated with a Degree in Economics and previously worked at The Bartlett Group in Leeds.

BHP Financial Planning is headed up by Managing Director Joy Clegg, the company which employs 6 financial planners, 2 corporate advisers and a support team of 13 provides advice to both Private and Corporate clients of BHP accountants.

He said: “Mitch is both highly qualified and has the experience needed to assist our private clients with all of their personal finance needs. He will no doubt be an asset to our team, which is continually expanding in response to high levels of demand for our services.”
