Over the last few weeks, Bradbury Group has carefully reviewed the government’s guidance and, following Boris Johnson’s lockdown announcement earlier this week, has decided to temporarily suspend production at all of its locations until Friday 1 May.
The steel door manufacturer has sites in Scunthorpe, Sittingbourne, Seaham and Irvine.
“As a company, we take our responsibility to protect our colleagues and our customers very seriously and this will be always our number one priority,” says Bradbury Group Chairman, Tim Strawson.
“Our decision to suspend production, has not been taken lightly. However, we believe that this is the only way to ensure the welfare and safety of our colleagues and customers, and play our part to flatten the curve of COVID-19.”
Bradbury Group remains open for business to support its customers, but this will be done through remote working of its colleagues. The company has ensured that its systems can operate remotely to deliver the highest level of customer support.
