Keith Morgan is standing down as Chief Executive of the British Business Bank at the end of 2020 after eight years at the helm.
Mr Morgan was appointed in January 2013 to lead the design and establishment of the Sheffield-based economic development bank. He was made Chief Executive in December 2013.
The Government-owned bank has grown significantly under Mr Morgan’s leadership and it now supports more than 90,000 smaller businesses with over £7 billion of loans or investments through its various programmes.
Mr Morgan won’t step down from his role and leave the bank until the end of 2020 to ensure an orderly transition to a new Chief Executive.
