Caddick Construction has been appointed onto the EN:Procure Affordable and Mixed Tenure New Building Housing Framework for Yorkshire and Humber which is led by Efficiency North.

The £340 million framework will offer a leading-edge supply chain of construction companies delivering site preparation, remediation, civil engineering and infrastructure works, design, new build construction, refurbishment and the development of a variety of properties.

As a strategic move for the company, Caddick Construction has appointed Richard Greenwood as its new Residential Development Manager with responsibility for managing and growing the company’s foothold in the housing sector.

Mr Greenwood brings with him more than 23 years of construction experience, latterly with Kier Living and as a Board Director at Southdale Ltd. He successfully led frameworks with the Homes and Communities Agency and Innovation Chain North West.

“The construction market focus has moved to beds and sheds and with Caddick’s extensive experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, design and build, it was a logical move to expand into the residential sector,” he said.

“Securing a place on this £340 million framework is fantastic and we look forward to working with Efficiency North and its partners to deliver high-quality social housing and regenerate local communities across the region.”
