Catalyst IT takes turnover to £6m with inaugural acquisition

Wetherby’s Catalyst IT has made its first acquisition after swooping for Rotherham counterpart, QlickiT, in a deal that takes its annual turnover to £6 million.

QlickiT is Qlik’s longest established UK partner and supports public sector organisations to include the NHS, Central and Local Government.

Catalyst is an IT solutions business delivering business intelligence (BI) and Oracle NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. Customers include Morrisons, Travis Perkins, Orange and Wickes.

Mark Godliman, MD at Catalyst, said: “The acquisition allows Catalyst to enhance its existing portfolio and enables us to operate across 10 market sectors. QlickiT has superb staff, customers and an excellent reputation in the marketplace.

“The two businesses are identical in terms of structure, go-to-market messaging and have complimentary skills and expertise. It will be very much business as usual with location and contact details remaining unchanged.

“This is a fantastic first acquisition for Catalyst and kick starts our 3-year period of acquisitive growth.”
