Christie & Co network broker sale of well-established West Yorkshire dental practice

Specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co is pleased to announce the sale of 57 Dental Care, a large mixed dental practice in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire to local first-time buyers.

Set in a large, detached character property, the well-established practice comprises four well-equipped surgeries renovated when the previous owners took ownership in 2008. The site is surrounded by attractive spacious grounds, presenting the new owners with ample opportunity for expansion and redevelopment.

The business has been purchased by Temur Khan, a highly experienced implantologist and his wife Sanna, marking their first taste of practice ownership. The couple plan to leverage Temur’s experience with implants and expand the business by introducing an ‘implant hub’ in future.

Jawad Anjum, Director at Christie Finance secured the funds for Temur and Sanna to acquire the dental practice. He comments, “It was great working with Temur and Sanna. There was an alternative practice that they missed out on, which left them rather disheartened. However, 57 Dental then came on the market. As they say, never fret if you miss out on something, as there’s bound to be something better right around the corner, and this literally was around the corner for them! I am absolutely delighted they were able to acquire a practice so close to home which ticked all the boxes. I wish them all the success in the future, although I do sense that I’ll be hearing from Temur again very soon to buy number two!”

Commenting on his experience working with Christie & Co and Christie Finance Temur said, “As a first-time buyer, the anxiety of the whole procedure has been immense, but I was glad to have Jawad as my advisor as he was someone whom I could confide in for advice and guidance. He was a constant source of support and reassurance, liaising with representatives from the bank and lawyers and constantly kept me up to date with all the progress. He has never been too busy to offer his input and continues to do so. I certainly recommend his advice and services and shall be seeking his assistance for my future endeavours as well. During this process I have also made a friend, so thank you Jawad for all your help.”

Jonathan Watson, Director at Christie & Co handled the sale and comments, “This is yet another example of the huge demand for well-located mixed dental practices across Yorkshire. The prominent trading position and good local reputation were key drivers in this deal. We were able to draw multiple offers in a competitive sales process, from first time buyers to experienced regional operators.”

57 Dental Group was purchased as a single asset freehold from a small dental group.
