Clarion is continuing to expand and reinforce its IP team with the appointment of Sue Streatfield as partner two years after joining the firm.
With over 17 years’ experience in IP law, Ms Streatfield’s career includes spending three years with a large Australian commercial law firm as well as having worked for Eversheds.
She joined Clarion from Bond Dickinson’s IP team, where she worked for seven years before joining Clarion in December 2015.
“With her strong track record in pharma litigation and IP commercialisation agreements, Sue has brought a wealth of knowledge to the firm and helped spearhead our growing presence in this specialist sector,” said Roger Hutton, joint managing partner of Clarion.
“Our IP team continues to go from strength to strength and there’s no doubt that Sue’s contribution has helped us to build our reputation as having one of the largest and most knowledgeable IP practices in the North of England. She is a talented IP lawyer and her promotion to partner is well deserved.”
Ms Streatfield added: “It’s great to be part of a renowned team with such a strong and diverse international offering across all areas of IP law. As such, we are very well placed to assist a broad range of clients in many different sectors.”
She has written and presented IP law courses for one of the largest law schools in the UK and contributes to various IP publications.
