A historic law firm in West Yorkshire has appointed a conveyancing veteran to focus on new build property transactions.
Jessica McKenzie brings more than twenty years’ experience to the Eatons Solicitors team at Weatherhead and Butcher, its Bingley office.
In her new role, Ms McKenzie will be responsible for purchases, lease extension and transfer of equity. She’ll be working under the firm’s recently appointed conveyancing executive, Angela Britton, and executive assistant Julie Fowler.
“It’s fantastic to be able to develop Eatons Solicitors’ new build and residential offering,” said Ms McKenzie.
“It’s a really exciting time for the business which is evolving in line with market and client needs and constantly innovates to ensure it leads in our specialisms.”
On her appointment, managing partner Graeme Brown, said: “Her two decades of experience is impressive and she’s a real asset to our team and client base.”
As well as its Bingley branch, the firm also have offices in Ilkley, Leeds and Bradford.
