Energy technology suppliers who work with business are being invited to find out more about a project to help companies in Greater Lincolnshire save energy, save money and save carbon.
Plumbers, electricians, heating engineers and others working in the sector are invited to meet the Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire team at three supplier events this month.
The aim is to introduce suppliers to the project, which could benefit their customers by offering more than a third of the cost of energy improvement measures back through grants offered by the scheme.
Helen Norris, Programme Manager for Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire, said: “We may have enjoyed a long, warm summer, but now the dark nights are creeping in and the mercury is falling, businesses across the region are already feeling the pinch as they switch on the lights and turn on the heating.
“We’re only halfway through autumn, so understandably, business owners are concerned about their upcoming winter bills.
“We can help to guide them through a variety of energy-saving measures that won’t just save them cash, but will reduce their carbon emissions, boost their green credentials and make a lasting impact on the environment.
“We’re keen to meet with energy technology suppliers so they can find out more about the project and share this information with their business customers who might be able to benefit.”
The supplier meetings are free and refreshments will be provided. They take place between 10am and 11.30am on the following dates and at the following locations:
- Tuesday, 20th November 2018 in Grimsby at efactor Unit E26, The Enterprise Village, Prince Albert Gardens, Grimsby DN31 3AG
