Skipton-based entrance security specialist Meesons A.I. Ltd has been named as a finalist in the 2019 NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
Jeremy Terry, CEO at Meesons, secured a place in the North West Regional Final for Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year category on the back of annual average turnover growth of 28% over the last five years.
Meesons currently services and maintains more than 650 sites throughout the UK, ranging from critical national infrastructure, to large corporate clients, through to the UK’s largest budget gym operators that require 24/7 access to maintain revenue.
A decade ago the company reinvented itself to provide entrance control to support on site security, manned guarding and reception staff, and improve operational efficiencies by offering bespoke entrance control solutions.
Jeremy said: “We have organically grown the business through hard work, determination and belief that we can make it work. We have now achieved significant market share from international competitors by taking the business from an undifferentiated, commodity-driven product trader to a specialist provider of entrance security solutions. I am delighted that we have been recognised in the awards because everyone in the business plays a part in achieving these outstanding results.
“Our ultimate goal is to earn the lifetime loyalty of our customers through excellent customer service, the introduction of innovative new products and technical leadership in our product categories.”
