Examine the issues surrounding the safe handling and storage of bulk materials in ports and on the sea with this course delivered by The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology.
The short course, held in association with ABTO, discusses real life issues and to determine best practice for future developments.
It is structured across four days into the following subjects;
Day 1: Introduction / Cargo characterisation / Ship unloading
Day 2: / Shore side transport / Storage and Discharge / Wear
Day 3: Rail Interfaces / Cargo Quality
Day 4: Safety issues / Autonomous Vehicles
Each day provides the opportunity to discuss operational issues with the presenters and other delegates.

The course is delivered virtually and starts at 12:00 each day from 8 – 11 March. The fee is £950, or £855 for ABTO members.
