Faith PR expands team with two new appointments

Faith PR, a PR, social and content specialist based in Brighouse, is taking further steps in expanding through the appointment of two new staff members, Tom Alderson and Joseph Clarke.

Tom joins the agency as a junior PR account manager, whilst Joseph will co-ordinate Faith’s growing offering of services in the social media space as social media account manager.

Tom, 30, graduated in 2012 from the University of Hull with a degree in politics and international studies, and previously spent several years working in management within the NHS.

After working for the last two years at Jaywing in Leeds, he progressed up to a senior role in the PR space, combining his knowledge of the industry with experience in delivering high quality services, whilst building trusting, long lasting relationships with clients, and joins Faith ready to expand on this further.

Tom’s remit includes supporting account directors with the business’s ever growing portfolio of clients, focusing on helping to co-ordinate PR activity and content creation across accounts including My Management Accountant, Twisted Automotive and The Strategic Mailing Partnership.

Joseph, 33, graduated in 2015 from the Staffordshire University with a degree in creative writing and film and began his career in the sector in internal PR and communications before moving onto develop expertise in social media strategy whilst living in Melbourne, Australia.

Having recently returned to Staffordshire University to complete a master’s degree in political philosophy, he brings a wealth of professional and life experience to the Faith team.

Joseph’s role will be to lead in co-ordinating social media strategy and content for several clients across different sectors, including The Sleep Charity, the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and World Kinect Energy services, educating businesses on how to maximise their profiles across all social platforms. These two new appointments will expand the current Faith team to nine.

It is another exciting step forward for the West Yorkshire agency, which moved to a new site at Vulcan House, an historic Victorian building in the heart of Brighouse, earlier this year, which is also home to the town’s first co-working space, BrigHub.

Tom, who is from Dewsbury but now lives in Warrington, said he was excited to join the team and was confident in what Faith can achieve moving forward.

“Having spent the last couple of years gaining a good understanding of the PR and marketing space, I felt like I had reached a point in my career where I was ready to take the next step and broaden my knowledge, and joining Faith gives me the perfect opportunity to do that.

“After learning about Faith as a company, I was really impressed by the sense of community and the opportunity to be part of such a tight knit team. Faith’s values certainly align with my own and I’m looking forward to working on some exciting accounts and campaigns and adding value to the great work we do here.”

Joseph was similarly delighted to link up with Faith: “To be able to join a team such as Faith’s is hugely exciting and a terrific opportunity for me to grow further within the PR and social media sector.

“One of the things which drew me to Faith was the holistic approach to their services. I have no doubt that the various branches of activity we provide to clients complement each other seamlessly and I’ll certainly be able to learn a lot with the vast resources and mixes of expertise we have at our disposal.”
