Independent Humber accountancy firm, Forrester Boyd, has acquired Hull-based accountancy practice Graybrowne.
The acquisition is part of the firm’s ambition as it looks to evolve from a traditional accountancy practice to one that delivers a holistic range of services and provides a solid geographic footprint in the centre of the City of Hull from which to expand their reach further.
“The acquisition of Graybrowne positions us firmly in the centre of the City of Hull. Graybrowne is a firm aligned not only to our growth strategy, but also with our values and beliefs and a perfect fit for our business,” said Chairman and Partner David Everatt.
“Our aim is to help all our clients to achieve their objectives, to meet them, to build relationships with them and to stay with them along their journey,” said David.
“As we move more into the realms of a true business and financial partner with our clients through the delivery of not only accountancy and tax services but corporate finance and wealth management, we are excited to be able to offer these value added services to our new clients.”
Mike Beckett, Partner at Forrester Boyd’s office in Beverley, will manage the Hull office along with Nick and Anne who will remain part of the business over the next few years.
