A 25,450 sq ft warehouse in Castleford, Wakefield formally occupied by Debenhams has been let to insultation and drylining distributor Markovitz.
The letting was secured by CBRE’s Industrial team in Leeds on behalf of Leeds-based property company Pullans.
Markovitz, a family run business which started in 1935 and now employing more than 250 staff, has leased the modern high quality warehouse unit at Unit 2, Freeway Park on a 5-year term.
The Castleford unit adds to the company’s expanding group of depots serving customers across Yorkshire, the North West and the Midlands.
The warehouse includes ground floor office space, a secure service yard, 3 ground floor loading doors and separate staff car parking provision.
Sitting on the main spine road through Wakefield Europort on the junction of Express Way and California Drive, the warehouse is in a prime location near to J31 of the M26 motorway, providing easy access to the region’s motorway network.
