Jet Aire appoints Contracts Manager

Leeds-based drainage and civil engineering company, Jet Aire Services, has appointed Peter Fishburn as Contracts Manager to coordinate the efficient delivery of projects throughout the UK.

Peter brings 30 years of industry experience encompassing all levels of site works and operations. He began his career as a construction site worker and progressed through various management roles, most recently as Contracts Manager at Leyburn-based Biker Group. Peter will be overseeing Jet Aire’s civil engineering, groundworks and highways programme with key responsibilities in planning timeframes and resources, managing costs, supporting compliance, liaising with stakeholders and reviewing progress, performance and processes.

Jet Aire Services Managing Director, Charlie Kirk, says: “Peter is a very welcome addition to Jet Aire management team. He understands the varied demands of site work from first-hand experience and has an outstanding track record in successful programme management. Peter will ensure that projects are completed on-time and within budget on behalf of clients in a range of key sectors including industrial, residential, retail, commercial, environmental, transport and chemical. His expertise will help Jet Aire to maintain our consistent record of client satisfaction.”

In addition to its civil engineering and groundworks services, Jet Aire provides a range of professional drainage solutions including CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, drain/sewer cleansing and clearance, tankering, waste disposal, CIPP patching/lining, UV lining, infiltration sealing, robotic cutting, root cutting and epoxy spray Ultracoating. With a head office in Aberford in addition to a Middlesbrough office, the company holds both ISO9001 and ISO14001 internationally recognised standards for Quality Management as well as OHSAS 18001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management.
