Just Desserts powers up new identity with Electric’s help

At the Fine Food Show North in Harrogate, Shipley-based bakery Just Desserts has launched a new brand identity created by Leeds agency Electric. 

Managing Director at Just Desserts, James O’Dwyer, says:“We met Electric at the Fine Food Show North in 2018 and at that time we weren’t looking to change our logo, but we kept in touch with Electric anyhow as they’d made a good impression on us.

At the end of 2018, we decided that a new look and a new brochure were required for us to spread the word of our Tempting Tarts and Marvellous Mousses. As we’d been impressed by Electric’s overall approach to design and as we wanted to work with a local agency, we gave them the logo and brochure redesign brief.

We’re very happy with the design process that Electric provided. Electric really helped us pinpoint the look we wanted that was true to our roots but also stood out in the dessert industry. We’re very excited to reveal our new logo and brochure to our customers. The annual Fine Food Show North was the perfect opportunity as we regularly attend and it showcases the finest treats from Yorkshire. ”

Electric MD Brian Kennedy said:“Our agency has worked with several well-known Yorkshire food brands and family run bakeries, such as Just Desserts and Lottie Shaw’s. The logo design we created for James and his team embraces the enthusiastic character of the Just Desserts team and their impressive baking know-how, while also highlighting the bakery’s Yorkshire roots. ”
