Leeds freighter forwarding business swoops for rival

Ligentia Group, the Leeds-based freight forwarding company, has this week acquired the business and assets of  Manchester’s Air & Cargo Services.

Through the deal, Ligentia significant grows its footprint in the UK as well as its global network to over seventy offices with some 450 staff.

Welcoming Air & Cargo Services into the fold will see the Group generate annual revenues of £160 million in 2019.

“We believe our teams are stronger together and the integration is enabling us to fast-track the launch of a new and unbeatable proposition called ‘Ligentia Plus’ to the freight forwarding market.”
