Leeds insurance brokers appoints MD to helm new North East business

Leeds-based JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers has appointed Mathew Stuttard to helm its newly formed North West Business.

Mr Stuttard joins from Towngate where he served as Sales Director and will lead the new Blackburn-based business as MD.

“Matthew’s business is our 9th business and 8th regional office, which puts us firmly on track to hit £50 million Gross Written Premium over the next three years, having just gone through £37 million last month,” said Group MD Nick Houghton.

The group employs over 105 people in eight offices across Yorkshire, North East, Midlands and the North West; providing insurance services in Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Scarborough, Sheffield, York and Blackburn.
