Utility management specialist Kinect has struck up a partnership with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce to help member businesses save money on energy.
The Chamber has announced a new partnership with Kinect Energy Group, who work with businesses to reduce their energy bills, achieve refunds on previous payments and become more energy efficient. It also helps businesses understand changes to energy legislations to help save on costs or avoid future increases.
The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce aims to protect and develop the interests of businesses in the metropolitan districts of Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield, providing support and forging connections.
The partnership with Kinect Energy, which has a base in Elland, ensures members receive direct access to its services, including assistance with negotiating the best energy rates and finding the most appropriate contracts for their business and advice on improving their energy efficiency.
Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce MD Martin Hathaway said: “We are delighted to partner with Kinect to enhance our existing membership package. As energy costs continue to rise, it is important for businesses to assess their organisation’s current energy consumption.
“As a Mid Yorkshire Chamber member company, Kinect has a proven track record of delivering energy savings and greater energy efficiency to businesses across the region and beyond.”
Kinect Energy Group partnerships manager Caroline Stangroom said: “We are excited to work in partnership with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber and provide its members with unique offerings.
“Wholesale markets have risen considerably in the last six months, so it is even more essential for businesses to understand the implications this may have on their energy costs. The partnership will help us identify the potential for businesses to make savings, while our expert market knowledge will help them make informed decisions on things like when to agree contracts.
“Kinect is well known in Calderdale thanks to our relationship with clients across the district, and we have been a frequent presence at networking events, so it seemed like a natural partnership to forge. We are really excited to see how we can help Chamber members in the future.”
