Ian Crichton has been named as the new CEO of Servelec, a Sheffield-based provider of digital care software.
This follows Alan Stubbs’ planned transition from Chief Executive Officer to a Non-Executive Director role at Servelec.
Mr Crichton joins from Serco where he held the position of Managing Director of their UK Health Business.
In the course of an international career spanning 30 years, he has worked in a variety of private and public sector roles, including that of Chief Executive at NHS National Services Scotland.
Working closely with the existing Servelec leadership team, including Managing Directors Neil Laycock and Richard Betts, Mr Crichton will further strengthen and develop the company’s strategy, ensuring excellent customer service delivery to Servelec’s healthcare and local government customers through market-leading software products.
“Ian is an outstanding CEO with a comprehensive range of experience which is a great fit for our business,” said Chairman Neville Davis.
“Servelec has a wealth of opportunities in its markets and a strong team in place, focused on delivering excellence in customer service; I am sure this will mark the start of a great new chapter in the company’s development.”
