New director appointment for Carter Towler

Clem McDowell has been appointed as the new Director of Leeds-based Chartered Surveyors Carter Towler.

Mr McDowell joins the company’s office agency team where he will work alongside Richard Fraser and Harriet Lawson.

Before joining the company, he was an associate director at Jones Lang LaSalle where he gained 8 years office agency experience. During that time, he was instrumental in the acquisition, sale and letting of a large number of Leeds city centre and out of town offices at developments including Wellington Place and Thorpe Park.

“In spite of the difficulties of operating during the pandemic Carter Towler has continued to trade successfully and we are grateful to our very loyal existing clients and to the new clients we have attracted in the last few months,” said MD Ian Greenwood.

“As we continue to grow by expanding the range of clients we have and our geographical reach it is vital that we further strengthen our team with highly skilled property professionals such as Clem.”

Mr McDowell added: “My role will be to facilitate further growth whilst ensuring all our agency clients receive the best possible advice, whether they are large UK property investment funds, national and local property companies, developers or private clients.”
