Newby has bolstered its ranks following a period of accelerated growth observed throughout all of its departments.
In under a year, the North Yorkshire developer has expanded its team from sixteen to twenty-six to support the progress made across its development portfolio.
Currently Newby has more than £40 million of construction projects across four sites in Yorkshire – Ryedale House in York; Springfield Court in Harrogate; Glasshouses Mill in the Yorkshire Dales, and West House Gardens in Birstwith with a gross GDV of more than £100 million for private sale.
With a number of further schemes in the pipeline from proposals submitted for 425 new homes on the former Nestlé factory site at Cocoa Works in York to Quayside West, a sustainable, new urban village of 1,500 homes in Newcastle, the company is well placed for further growth.
Newby has strengthened its sales and marketing team with two key appointments as several residential developments launch across North Yorkshire. Francesca Wright joins as Marketing Manager alongside new Sales Manager, Ben Roberts.
Newby’s Construction division has also been strengthened with the appointment of four new team members, including two experienced Development Managers, a Senior Quantity Surveyor and a Junior Quantity Surveyor.
The office support staff at the company’s Newby Hall headquarters has also grown to support the management teams.
Director Simon Hepden said: “We are enjoying an unprecedented period of growth at Newby at a time when the residential market is seeing an increasing demand for high quality, high specification homes.
“We have a strong and dynamic team in place with a wealth of expertise and experience to support the progress of our expanding development portfolio and to help us deliver first class homes in the Yorkshire region and beyond.”
