New MD for Hull safety specialists, Arco

Arco, the Hull-headquartered safety specialist, has appointed its Finance Director, David Evison, as Managing Director.

Mr Evison joined the business back in 2014 and brought with him over 20 year’s Board level experience gained with William Jacksons Food Group and Sainsbury’s.

As MD, Mr Evison will lead Arco’s commercial strategy and drive the success of the business as it continues with its core aim to “Keep people safe at work”.

Chairman Thomas Martin said: “David’s appointment as Managing Director comes at an exciting time for our business.

“We have ambitious plans for the future success of Arco, and David is the right leader to help us deliver these.  He brings with him not only a wealth of commercial experience but also a deep understanding and passion, for our business and our values.

“He has a strong leadership style and is already inspiring our people, and creating significant momentum throughout the company.”

Mr Evison added: “Arco has a deserved reputation as a market leader and our plans for the future remain unchanged, as we continue to drive for the performance that will support the “game-changing” investments that underpin our business.

“We are constantly driving our business to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and our core value remains the same, to make sure everyone comes home safely at the end of the day.  I look forward to leading Arco to achieve these ambitions.”
