The Sheffield College has appointed Angela Foulkes as its permanent Chief Executive and Principal.
Ms Foulkes joined the College as Principal back in September 2017 and has also been Acting Chief Executive since November 2017.
“I feel incredibly privileged to have been given the chance to serve The Sheffield College, and also the City where I’ve lived for the last 10 years, as Chief Executive and Principal,” she said.
Before joining The Sheffield College, Ms Foulkes was Vice Principal for Curriculum and Support at The Manchester College.
She has also held senior leadership roles in London colleges and was a Vice Principal at Barnsley College.
Seb Schmoller, Chair of The Sheffield College Governing Body, said: “The Governing Body’s selection panel was unanimous and unequivocal in its recommendation to the Governing Body to appoint Angela.
“She closely fits all the stated requirements of the post; and the governors think that Angela will be able successfully to support and lead the College through the next stage of its development.”
