Ring Carnation, the Leeds-based supplier of specialist products for vehicle converters, has donated a state-of-the-art genisys system for specialist vehicles to care provider Hollybank Trust.
The bespoke genisys system, providing state of the art safety features, was installed in the Hollybank Trust’s new custom-built mobility bus.
Designed initially for the emergency services industry, a genisys system ensures that power is available for critical vehicle functions by managing power distribution throughout the vehicle.
Based in Mirfield in West Yorkshire, Hollybank Trust provides care, support and education to over 120 babies, children and adults with multiple and profound difficulties at its special school and nursery, residential homes and daytime activity programmes.
The new bus will allow the organisation to deliver additional care to those living across the South and West Yorkshire communities.
It will also allow staff to take residents and services users on day trips and to routine appointments and interact more with the local community.
Richard Yates, Divisional Director for Ring Carnation, said: “We’ve worked with the charity on numerous occasions and were more than happy to donate our products to a truly worthy cause.
“The service they deliver is invaluable for those that rely on the organisation. The genisys system we have donated is a token of our appreciation for the work they do and will allow them to continue for many years to come.”
