Integrated environmental, engineering and technical services consultancy, RSK, has acquired North Yorkshire’s Geocore Site Investigations.
Founded in 1998 and based in Redcar, Geocore Site Investigations specialises in the investigation of domestic subsidence, providing detailed site surveys with foundation inspections and drainage CCTV.
“Geocore’s service provision complements RSK’s existing services perfectly and I am looking forward to expanding RSK’s drilling provision as we begin collaborating,” said RSK’s founder and CEO Alan Ryder.
“Like RSK, Geocore focuses on its employees and clients. I’m confident that this shared ethos, with our complementary services, will allow both companies to thrive.”
In joining forces, Geocore Site Investigations will become part of RSK’s contracting division under the direction of RSK Divisional Director Claire Knighton.
Geocore specialises in domestic subsidence investigations and deep ground source drilling, enabling RSK to increase its drilling provision and expand into other areas.
Adam Woodhead, Geocore Site Investigations’ Managing Director and founder, will continue to lead the business with the support of director Michelle Woodhead.
“Moving forward with the support of RSK’s integrated safety, health, environmental and quality management system, I will be delighted to see Geocore take the next step as a respected provider of specialist drilling solutions,” said Mr Woodhead.
