Scunthorpe care home sold to Chesterfield-based operator

Randolph House in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, has been sold.

The purpose-built care home is registered with the CQC to provide dementia and residential care as well as day care, respite, and long-term placements for up to 70 residents.

The business sits in a detached two-storey property with 67 bedrooms, eight of which have en suite facilities.

The business was previously managed by Burlington Care on behalf of an investment fund.

The home has been purchased by Knights Care, a Chesterfield based operator.

Adam Knights, Managing Director, said: “Huge thank you to Julie and all at Christie & Co for all their hard work and support in our purchase of Randolph House care home. We are extremely excited to bring Randolph House on board to the Knights Care family. Look forward to working with you again on our next acquisition.”

Julie Kitson, Director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, said: “I am delighted to have been able to assist Knights Care in purchasing Randolph House and am sure it will be an excellent addition to the group. On behalf of Christie & Co and our clients, we wish Knights Care every success and look forward to working with them again in the near future.”

Randolph House was sold off an asking price of £1,500,000.
