Servelec HSC, the Sheffield-based supplier of software across healthcare, social care and education, has appointed two new Managing Directors.
The senior appointments strengthen the company’s leadership team and help to reinforce the business’s commitment to its customers’ service delivery, development and support.
Working with CEO Alan Stubbs, Neil Laycock joins as MD of Healthcare and Richard Betts as MD of Local Government, comprising the teams focused on the social care and education markets.
Mr Laycock has previously worked with EMIS and Plusnet amongst other technology and healthtech organisations, to deliver positive results through customer engagement and service improvement programmes.
Mr Betts, on the other hand, is an internationally experienced senior leader with a proven track record of developing customer-focused strategies for delivering business transformation across a range of software businesses, in the UK, USA and Australia.
The company has recently won a number of new contracts with healthcare and local government customers.
In the healthcare market, Servelec HSC won a new contract to supply Lincolnshire NHS Trust with its RiO electronic patient record system.
The company is also supporting the creation of the largest Acute trust in the UK, through the merger of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust with Servelec HSC’s Oceano patient administration system.
“With the strengthening of the leadership team, I feel confident that we can further grow the business to capitalise on market opportunities across our core sectors whilst creating opportunities for our growing teams with a range of exciting projects to work on,” said Mr Stubbs.
