Sheffield-based PM Property Lawyers has been named as National Conveyancing Firm of the Year at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards.
The awards celebrate the best in the field of property law and are open to law firms from across England and Wales. The judging panel was made up of experts from the sector including the CEO of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and well known property expert Kate Faulkner.
After picking up the award at the ceremony in Liverpool, MD Harvey Harding said: “This is a fantastic achievement for a firm that’s less than six years old. We’ve come a very long way and it’s entirely due to the incredible team we have at PM Property Lawyers. They work extremely hard to help people with one of the most important acts of their lives – buying or selling their home.
“It’s probably the biggest financial transaction our customers will ever be involved in and as well as the practicalities, it’s a huge emotional event. So to be recognised in this way for doing what we do is phenomenal – I’m so proud of each and every one of the team.”
Judge Tom Backhouse said: “PM Property Lawyers are the epitome of a forward-thinking law firm, constantly looking to innovate and evolve to better benefit the client.
“Their comprehensive approach to cyber security, staff training, and customer service is enviable, and their use of technology to streamline their service whilst retaining a personal touch is to be applauded.
“Harvey has spearheaded ambitious growth plans whilst also encouraging access to technology across the sector through his work with the UK Legal Tech Association and The Conveyancing Association.”
