Sheffield telecoms business on track to double turnover

U-telecoms, a telecoms and broadband provider based in Sheffield, is “on track” to double its turnover in 2019 compared to the previous year during an “unpreceded” rise in demand for its services.

Based on the Sheffield Business Park (SBP), U-telecoms was established in 2015 by entrepreneurs Liam Parnell, Ryan Birkwood and Ben Maton.

“Our next quarter is expected to be record breaking, with sales confirmed already up by over 90% compared to the same period in 2018,” said Sales Director Liam Parnell.

“Due to technical advances, national fibre network upgrades, and the news that BT will be terminating ISDN telephone lines imminently, every UK business is having to consider their options.

“We are providing businesses the opportunity to upgrade and future proof their communications whilst reducing their costs; combining this with our fantastic support, you can see why 98% of our customers choose to recommend us.

“Moving to the Sheffield Business Centre last year has opened many doors for us given its location, and the excellent business network that exists within it, and we’re delighted to be working with a number of companies which are situated right alongside us.”
