Law firm Shoosmiths has boosted its Yorkshire presence with the opening of a new office in Sheffield’s cultural industries quarter.
The firm has taken 1,520 sq ft at City Estates’ Speedwell Works development on Sidney Street where between 10-14 of its staff members will now be based.
The project is regenerating previously derelict cutlery factories in the heart of the city’s cultural industries quarter.
“Being here will allow us to build on our increasing profile in the region and to better serve our numerous clients in the area,” said Thomas Hall, head of the Shoosmiths Sheffield Team.
“We are very committed to Sheffield and working with the real estate sector in the region. It has only been made possible through the use of our unique and innovative Shoosmiths Agile platform, which makes it easier for our people to work effectively in various locations.
“This approach, coupled with the outstanding feedback we’ve received from our clients means we are on the right track in our efforts to develop Shoosmiths in the area, and to be able to offer the client service we are famous for to our existing and future client base.”
