Streets focus on support schemes in latest business update

Streets Chartered Accountants provide details of the latest business support schemes in its latest update.

The firm explore the Job Support Scheme (JSS), the customs grant scheme, increased support for the self-employed, grants available for those facing local restrictions and a reminder of the rules for those letting residential property.

It also looks at the change in approach to the VAT treatment of compensation payments, we begin the search for start-up businesses and entrepreneurs looking for funding and provide details of its next supported virtual event – Business Re-imagined.

In the latest episode of The Streets Sessions, Gerry Myton, Head of Indirect Tax, discusses the issues that might arise following Brexit and the end of the transition period with a particular focus on trading with Northern Ireland from 1st January 2021. With the end of the transition period, new rules will come into effect changing the way businesses trade and do business with EU members.
