Motivational speaker Stuart Baldwin will be returning to Gainsborough this November to encourage guests to ‘Live BIG’ at a special event.
After a successful event in 2017 involving over 150 business leaders, the Invest Gainsborough Place Board is inviting anyone looking to be inspired, to attend the event at Trinity Arts Centre.
Live BIG is a way of thinking and being that stops us playing small. Stuart Baldwin helps leaders be great and then teaches them how to do the same for their people.
Stuart said: “I’m really happy to be coming to Gainsborough again after all of the big changes that have taken place since my last visit. The new restaurant and the National Lottery Heritage Fund are both big developments for the town, and I’m excited to build on what are clearly exciting times for Gainsborough.
“In the speech we will be exploring how we can all be happier. Do more. Give more and go further. How we can lead better and live bigger. One of the key ingredients is Optimism, something Gainsborough has harnessed brilliantly over the last few years.
“So we will explore the stories, science and value of mindset and leave with a practical tool to increase happiness, performance and focus in ourselves, our families our business and our community.”
Guests will also hear about the developments of Invest Gainsborough and Team Lincolnshire and how they can help businesses in the local area.
Steve Gelder, chairman of the Invest Gainsborough Place Board, said: “This will be a great opportunity to celebrate continued successes for this town. Gainsborough has become an investable proposition amongst businesses, and the Place Board is looking forward to sharing its successes with business leaders during this event.
“Stuart’s talk will be all about the key ingredient that has made this happen – optimism. 2017’s event was so well received by attendees that we really wanted to invite Stuart back to Gainsborough. I know this event will be another great success and will be thought provoking to everyone who attends.”
Councillors from West Lindsey District Council are also looking forward to attending the event.
Cllr Mandy Snee, ward councillor for Gainsborough North and member of the Prosperous Communities Committee, said: “I’m really excited to see that this inspirational talk will be taking place in Gainsborough – Stuart Baldwin’s messages are really in-keeping with the Council’s ambitions for to regenerate the town.”
