Temple Works in Holbeck, Leeds, will have a starting price of just £1, when it is auctioned next month by auctioneer Pugh at its monthly Leeds property auction.
The building, which is around 200 years old, had been earmarked for development by Burberry, but this has since fallen through.
The online description of the property states the lot includes: “Grade I Listed former Flax Mill extending to 10948 sq m (117,848 sq ft) approximately (the measurements excludes the “1953” infill and basements) in a state of disrepair, plus car park.”
The building has offices, storage and workshops over three floors, as well as a car park, which is currently let on a tenancy at will basis, at £6,000 a year.
The property can be found in Holbeck very close to the city centre of Leeds and its train station. The property occupies a prominent position on Marshall Street in an area of vast regeneration.
