Hazel Griffiths has been named as the new Chief Financial Officer at thebigword as the Leeds-based language service provider pushes ahead with its global growth strategy.
The appointment comes after group revenue exceeded £85 million for the first time.
As former CFO of Fulcrum Utility Services, Ms Griffiths has a wealth of experience in senior leadership and transformational change management roles.
She has also held a succession of senior roles such as Divisional Head of Finance at Hargreaves and Change Manager at the Arcadia Group.
At thebigword, she will spearhead the group’s global growth and strategic plans, including international expansion, and mergers and acquisitions.
“I will be working with Chairman Larry Gould and CEO Nihat Arkan to drive forward the company’s M&A strategy, expansion into new industries and markets as well as increasing profitability across thebigword’s regional bases,” she said.
