Time Out: Thomas Black, former Joint Chairman of Peter Black Holdings

The weekend has rolled around again and that means another ‘Time Out’. This week’s answers come from Thomas Black, former Joint Chairman of Keighley-based Peter Black Holdings. Thomas, who has just released a book, enjoys metal detecting.

What is the first thing you do to get the weekend started?

I organise my Saturday morning golf – and make sure the fridge is full.

What is your hobby?

Metal detecting and Bridge.

What is your favourite movie?

Le bonheur est dans le pré (Happiness is in the field).

If you hadn’t been successful at what you do, what would you be doing instead as a career?

A market trader.

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

Foresight.

What is your favourite genre of music?

Contemporary. My favourite song is Chariots of Fire by Vangelis.

If you could travel to any moment in time where would you go?

Back to 1945 to witness the surrender of Germany at the end of World War 2.
