Trebor Developments has named MCS Group Limited as the main contractor to build a speculative industrial unit in Rotherham following the site purchase completion.
Work on the 78,458 sq ft site at ‘Atomic” at 31 East Dinnington, less than 2.5 miles from Junction 31 of the M1, begins next month and is due for completion by the year end.
The building will be suitable for logistics/distribution or manufacturing uses, built to high quality, sustainable, standards.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner of Trebor Developments said: “We are pleased to have selected MCS Group Limited as our main contractor and see work shortly commencing on site. This is the second major construction project we have awarded MCS this month.
“The development provides quality industrial accommodation to meet local and regional occupier needs and represents part of our national development pipeline of similar speculative, industrial, developments, delivering in the order of three million square feet over the next 18 months.”
