A trio of healthcare and medical-training organisations have chosen Joseph’s Well in Leeds for new bases, marking the continued growth of specialist services and start-ups in the city centre.
Mentor Merlin Limited, OxyHealthCare Limited, and Rehabwell 360 Physiotherapy & Healthcare Limited have taken a combined 2,318 sq ft of workspace in the office building, adding to a growing cluster of professional, clinical and training providers.
Mentor Merlin Limited has taken 940 sq ft to establish a dedicated training centre for students preparing for their Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). With the existing OSCE test suites already operating in the building, their new centre brings training and assessment under one roof.
“Being located within the same building as the OSCE testing suites makes a real difference for our students,” said Hermercheese Balan, chief operating officer at Mentor Merlin. “It gives them a seamless experience from training to assessment, and the professional setting at Joseph’s Well reflects the high standards we aim to deliver.”
OxyHealthCare Limited has launched a 700 sq ft clinic providing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for recovery, rehabilitation and wellbeing. The new Leeds centre supports two franchise territories covering both the North and South regional areas, making HBOT services more accessible to patients throughout Yorkshire.
“We needed a location that felt calm for clients and practical for referrals,” said Lynn Atkin, director at OxyHealthCare Leeds. “Joseph’s Well offered the right environment and convenience for people travelling into the city.”
Rehabwell 360 Physiotherapy & Healthcare Limited has taken 678 sq ft for a new physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice.
“A flexible, professional workspace was important to us, in a location that would work well for our clients,” said Tsun Cheng, director, Rehabwell 360. “Joseph’s Well ticked all the boxes, and being part of a community of healthcare providers is a real bonus.”
Joseph’s Well is managed by J Pullan & Sons Ltd (Pullans). Bruce Strachan, property director at Pullans, said: “Leeds has a thriving healthcare sector, and it’s encouraging to see organisations of this kind not only expanding but choosing to do so in the city centre. We’re pleased Joseph’s Well can play a role in supporting that growth and creating an environment where these businesses can collaborate and thrive.”
Carter Towler and WSB are joint marketing agents for Joseph’s Well.
