Two senior roles are filled at Savills

The Savills planning team in Leeds has been bolstered by two senior appointments: Alex McCallion has joined as a director in the planning team, whilst Steve Roberts joins as a senior planner.

With over 10 years experience in the Leeds planning industry, Alex, pictured, joins Savills from Deloitte where he specialised in providing strategic planning and development advice to a range of clients across England and Northern Ireland. Prior to this, he worked as a planning & development surveyor at Drivers Jonas and he also has public sector experience from Leeds City Council. Steve also joins from Deloitte, where he has more than seven years experience as a planning and development surveyor.

Both will specialise in areas of work across the full planning spectrum including residential strategic work and immediate, mixed use, retail and commercial development.

Adam Key, director and head of planning at Savills Leeds welcomed the new appointment, commenting: “Alex and Steve’s excellent reputations precede them and they are already an invaluable part of the team. Between them, they have an incredibly diverse range of knowledge and experience having acted for a wide range of clients including notable Universities in the North of England.  Alex and Steve bring highly complementary experience and track record thus making them a natural complement to the existing team.”
