US Ambassador Robert Wood Johnson recently paid a visit to Young’s Seafood’s Ross House offices in Grimsby.

The Ambassador visited the historic seafood town to learn more about UK fishing, manufacturing and opportunities to expand US-UK trade.

Meeting with Young’s CEO, Bill Showalter, Cleethorpes’s MP Martin Vickers and several Grimsby business leaders, the group discussed the quality of British made products, how to maximise trade between the two countries, and the success Young’s has seen exporting to the United States.

“Driving exports is a key pillar of our strategic growth plan, and we’re delighted to have had the opportunity to share what makes Young’s unique, and discuss how we can extend seafood trade between the US and UK with Ambassador Johnson,” said Mr Showalter.
