Yorkshire clothing manufacturer invests in productivity

A Yorkshire clothing manufacturer has invested £500,000 in state-of-the-art machinery to boost productivity and product quality.

Banana Moon Clothing said the newly installed Kornit Digital Direct to Garment equipment at its Birstall facility will enable it to slash turnaround time for many of its customers.

The addition of the new machine has been made alongside several other smaller investments in new technology that will help drive productivity.

“This is a pivotal moment in the 26-year history of our business and the largest single investment we’ve ever made in terms of our process development,” said MD Alex Grace.

“The new equipment will produce an extremely high standard of print, while also enabling us to produce large quantities in a shorter space of time. The end result is a better service for our customers.”
