Greenbox has secured full planning consent from North Yorkshire Council for a 181,742 sq ft industrial unit at its Greenbox Thirsk logistics hub.
The scheme forms part of a three-unit masterplan totalling 820,000 sq ft on a 52-acre site adjacent to the A1(M). Designed to meet high environmental and operational standards, the project targets BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings, with a focus on achieving Net Zero construction and operation.
The development supports the growing demand for sustainable, high-quality industrial space in strategic UK logistics corridors. Greenbox’s Thirsk site offers strong transport connectivity to the North East and Yorkshire, positioning it as a key location for occupiers seeking energy-efficient facilities with modern infrastructure.
The project builds on Greenbox’s recent delivery of Greenbox Darlington and continues the developer’s expansion of ESG-led logistics assets across the UK market.
